This oject is about 5 inches high. I made it out of sterling silver and an amethyst crystal as a wedding gift for my cousin. When I am not working with pixels, my other medium is metal. I do castings from organic forms in silver & gold . The stem was modelled from a grapevine tendril and the handle from a poppy pod. When it was finished, I was happily surprised to find that it would precariously balance on the pod. You can see more of my metal creations here. email Irene Blueth |
